tylus
reformed for two weeks at Caper's in Melbourne late February 2002,
and it was a great success. It was nice to see that there are people
out there of all ages digging the band, and that sweet soul sound.
Even though we had all put on a bit of weight since we last played,
we hadn't lost any of our musical chops'.
Capers being a small intimate venue, we decided to do it more as
an unplugged gig with Ron and I playing mainly acoustic guitars,
and David Jones playing brushes and blastic's. Trevor Carter (my
old pal) from Studio 52 came down and recorded the final two shows
for a live CD, which also will be released either later this year
or early in 2003. When that occurs the band will do more shows and
perhaps tour again, scary!!!
Stay tuned for further developments.
